Updated Rules for Recalls

MAR Notice No. 2026-447.2 – Amendment of ARM 42.39.312 pertaining to Marijuana Recalls has been adopted as proposed. The updated rule became effective on July 11, 2026.

Updated Warnings for Exit Packages and Warning Posters

Resources provided by CARD are on the website for the new warnings, QR code, and the required posters at each point of sale.

Reminder: Business License Relinquishment Process

Cannabis businesses have been able to relinquish individual site licenses or their entire business license. The cannabis business relinquishment process may allow another business to obtain that license.

Understanding the Violation & Resolution Process

When a cannabis business is inspected or investigated, violations may be issued to that business. CARD has a process to determine what constitutes a violation and how they are issued.

New: Square Footage and Designation on Deficiency Letters

Deficiency letters will now show the square footage of a cultivation site that was measured during inspection. These letters will show whether the site is approved for indoor or outdoor cultivation
