Nonprofit Arts Organization Beer and Table Wine Licenses

Overview

Nonprofit Arts Organization Beer and Table Wine License is a license to sell beer and table wine at events in a specific theater or other appropriate premises approved by the Department. (16-4-303, MCA)

This license is not part of the quota system.

Eligible Events

These events may include:

  • Exhibitions
  • Productions
  • Performances
  • Programs

What This License Allows

The license holder may:

  • Be open between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 AM
  • Be open during the organization's events

What This License Does Not Allow

The license holder may not:

  • Concession their license
  • Offer sales for off-premises consumption, including curbside delivery
  • Cater events
  • Allow other nonprofits to have a nonprofit special permit event on the licensed premises

Fees

  • New License Fee: $250
  • Processing Fee: $400
  • Renewal Fee: $250

Note: The application processing fee only applies to original applications and is not applied to renewals.
